Opus Plasma
Opus Plasma, an FDA-cleared, nonsurgical skin resurfacing treatment, is the first fractional plasma technology to enter the market. Not to be confused with strictly plasma devices, the application of radio frequency (RF) with “micro-plasma” energy means that skin texture and quality are improved in less time and with less downtime when compared with other skin resurfacing solutions. The process is ideal for all skin types and works by using a metal device fitted with tips that emit high, radio-frequency energy. The RF energy works together with one’s own plasma to create micro-injuries that stimulate the body’s natural wound-healing response, stimulating collagen production and improving skin quality and appearance over time.
