What to Expect

- The dermaplaning process generally takes 15 minutes.
Before Your Appointment
- Discontinue using Accutane and Isotretinoin products 6 months prior to treatment.
- Avoid using retinoids and glycolic products for 48 hours prior to treatment.
- Also avoid prolonged sun exposure.
- Prior to treatment, the provider will cleanse the skin.
After Your Appointment + Downtime
- Avoid using retinoids and glycolic products for 3-5 days following treatment.
- Your skin may be sensitive so avoid sun exposure or strong topical products for a few days.
